The mission of the Paint Rock Valley History Project

The Paint Rock Valley History Project of the Jackson County Historical Association has a goal to preserve history of the beautiful Paint Rock Valley. One of or many ways to preserve the history of our valley is in audio histories. Transcripts are viewable at our monthly yard sales.

We are a non-profit organization, depending on the generosities of the community to help us preserve our history. One way you can help our organization is to join us at our monthly yard sales. We set up at the Old Hubert & Ruby Hall Store Building and Grounds in the Swaim Community on Co. Rd. #9 in Upper Paint Rock Valley, first Sunday of the month, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. We offer many nice items for sale. For example, we have hard to find books, all sizes and styles of clothing, electronics, and much more. Come by to see our items, and learn about the history of the Paint Rock Valley.
